When submitting documents in Ohio, you MUST include the COMPLETE legal description of the property. Note: The brief description found on your County Auditor's website is not sufficient - you need the full/complete legal description, which can be found on:

  • Your property deed
  • Your title insurance policy
  • The County Recorder's office records

Example: "Being Lot Number Two Hundred Thirty-Nine (239) in RIVERSIDE HEIGHTS SUBDIVISION, as the same is numbered and delineated upon the recorded plat thereof, of record in Plat Book 7, Page 152, Recorder's Office, Franklin County, Ohio."

Need help? Contact your County Recorder's office or your title company for a copy of your property's full legal description.

I CERTIFY that this is a scanned BLACK and WHITE copy of the ORIGINAL file to be recorded in 300dpi PDF format, size 8.5x11. Photos will not be accepted even in pdf format. I UNDERSTAND that I will receive the eRecorded document after it is recorded, which is not the same as a "Certified Copy" of the document. (Certified copies can only be received in person in from the County or from the County's website.) I UNDERSTAND due to limited County resources File-and-Go is NOT able to cancel or reject documents once submitted, as such they will NOT refund if the submission/document is recorded by the County. I UNDERSTAND by submitting this document that File-and-Go will be held non-liable for any reason or action due to the filing of this document. I UNDERSTAND that File-and-Go will not amend or edit this document in any way.
